Hi everybody! I am so so grateful for all your kindness and donations. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s been tiring days and nights of monitoring her and feeding her but worth it because she’s improving each day.

Phoenix turned a corner last night and has now started to eat food on her own. Only very soft food but I’m over the moon about that. We has another visit to see the Dentist Specialist tomorrow so I’m positive about that.

Phoenix is still very clingy and sore and her self confidence is still down but the main thing is, she’s improving.

So thank you again everyone You guys are amazing. And I’ll pay it forward by donating to other animals in need on here after i get through this :)

    Hey guys!

Phoenix had a check up yesterday and a new pain patch was put on her ear. She also got some more recover patte food and recovery liquid food. I am still syringe feeding her but, on meal times Phoenix WANTS to eat (but doesn’t) but that’s a great sign. And because she’s using her jaw and drinking heaps of water, I’m confident she can lick her liquid food for now. I’ll try to get her doing that. I think it’s def a confidence thing for her, rather than physical.

Also, she has a specialist traveling from Matamta to see what they can do with her Jaw and if it is in fact fractured or dislocated. If dislocated, that of course is a straight forward procedure.

We will wait and see on Monday.

Thank you so much to you all for your kindness and words. It’s truly awesome and gives me heaps of hope in people.

Thank you from me and Phoenix :)
