Pickle is at home now and is recovering well. Had a little hiccup with pain problems first day home and had to go back for a injectable pain killer. He has a checkup next week to get his stitches removed. Then five more weeks of crate rest. Again, Thank you to everyone for your support!😊

Pickle had his operation yesterday. He’s doing ok. Lots of pain medication at the moment, so very sleepy. Hopefully reducing that overnight so he can come home tomorrow. Can't believe he is standing, although wobbly, so soon.
Pickle had a CT scan today to be ready for operation tomorrow. His belly is not looking great but antibiotics should clear that up soon hopefully. If all goes well we should be able to bring Pickle home on Saturday. He will then be on 6 weeks crate rest. We would like to thank everyone for their very kind donations and support.😊
Good Morning everyone, we were excited to see Pickle this morning. He’s doing really well on the pain medication, only wants to be hand fed the poor baby but at least he’s eating. He looks a little bit sad all hooked up but he loved getting hugs and kisses. Hopefully will be able to see him after surgery on Thursday. 😊
Good Morning everyone, Pickle was taken to VSA (Thank You Dr Izzy MacEwan) in Mount Wellington this morning. He is there for pain/fluid care until surgery. We hope to visit him on monday, will update with a photo then. In the meantime Thank you to everyone for your generous and kind donations we greatly appreciate this. 😊
