Fundraiser to get Team Potato Patahtoes to Tournament of Minds national competition on 13th September in Wellington

Royal Oak, Auckland

Team Potato Patahtoes is a Tournament of Minds (TOM) team from Royal Oak Intermediate specialising in the discipline of Language and Literature. The members of Team Potato Patahtoes are Josiah, Mark, Hazel, Alex, Leo, Shevonne and Elroy. This amazing group of students won the Auckland regional competition, Go Team Potato Patahtoes. We are SO proud of you!

They now have an opportunity to compete in the national finals in Wellington on September 13th. They will be competing with teams from around the country. What an incredible opportunity for these young learners! We hope you can help us to get them there!

Funds raised here will contribute to paying for each child's entry fee, as well as the travel and accomodation costs involved in taking 7 children and accompanying adults to Wellington.

What is TOM? TOM is a program for all primary and secondary students providing the opportunity to solve authentic, open-ended challenges that foster creative, divergent thinking whilst developing collaborative enterprise, excellence and teamwork in a challenging and competitive environment.
