Help raise funds for Debbie

In May 2025, while attending her son's inquest, Debbie received the heartbreaking news that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Since then, her world has been turned upside down. Facing this difficult journey, Debbie has made the decision to move to Australia to access better treatment options and be closer to her grandchildren and family for support.

Debbie has lived her whole life in Christchurch, and everything she owns is still there. To help ease this transition, we’re trying to raise enough funds to get a shipping container of her belongings sent with her to Australia. This way, she won’t have to part with the memories and items that bring her comfort and familiarity.

Anyone who knows Debbie knows she has the kindest heart—you’ll never leave her home hungry, and she’d give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Now, it’s our turn to help her.
