Single mom & music teacher survives hit-and-run crash. Funds needed for rental car during investigation. Help her regain her livelihood!
Auckland
I would like to raise some money to help my sister, who is a hard-working single mom, piano and violin teacher in Virginia, US.
She yesterday has luckily survived a pretty bad car crash, while was driving from one of her students to the next one down a quiet street. When crossing an intersection a speeding truck driver totally neglecting the stop sign on his secondary road rammed into the side of her car. Both doors on passenger side caved in, airbags deployed, barely avoiding destroying her violin. Luckily, she was not injured during this hit. The driver turned and sped up from the scene leaving her with the destroyed car and in shock.
While police is investigating, searching and pursuing the hit and run driver, insurance figuring out who is at fault and if she is eligible for a temporary replacement car and if the car is totaled or not, she is left without a vehicle which is essential to her income, since she is traveling to her students homes.
She is devastated with this situation and scared that she might lose her only income for uncertain amount of time while investigation is happening.
I'd like to help her by raising funds to cover a rental car until she gets some (hopefully favorable) resolution from the insurance.
Any support is hugely appreciated!
This is my sister.
A rental car so she can continue working while police and insurance investigation is happening.
