Help Renee Fight for Her Life

If you know Renee, you know movement has always been part of who she is. She is a dancer, a devoted mother, a beloved friend, and someone who has spent her life bringing energy, laughter and light to everyone around her.

Many of you know Renee has battled Lupus for over a decade, carrying that fight quietly. But over the past 9 to 12 months her health has declined in ways impossible to ignore, and the past couple of months have taken a dangerous, frightening turn.

Renee is now facing the fight of her life. She has advanced liver disease and urgently needs a liver transplant. Renee is a Kiwi who has been living in California, USA since 2002, and the healthcare system there is complex. Although she has medical insurance, it doesn't cover everything, and some of the care she urgently needs to save her life comes with long waitlists and significant out of pocket costs.

Renee is also a mother to her beautiful daughter, Eden. More than anything, we want to give Eden the chance to grow up with her Mom, and give Renee the chance to raise her.
