Help us to replace our large shade sail (including tensions etc) that was stolen
Hawke's Bay
Over the weekend of the 30th November we had one of our large shade sails stolen, tension ropes were sliced, never to be seen again.
It provided essential shade over our large whare rakau and our safety matting area which has big shapes for our children ages 0-6yrs old to enjoy.
Our insurance excess for burglaries is $1000.
We currently don't have the funds to replace such a large (8m x 10m) shade sail with accessories.
We also want to prevent this occurring again we are installing security cameras on the premises.
About us
We are an Early Childhood Centre located in Havelock North, Hawkes Bay. We are a parent run cooperative under the national organisation Playcentre Aotearoa. We get funding from MOE to cover all essential costs and rely on fundraising for all other costs

To replace our large shade sail (including tensions etc) that was stolen
Any surplus will be put towards the install of security cameras around the property and equipment for the tamariki

Thanks to all the donations we have received so far, we appreciate your generosity.
We are in talks to Hawkes Bay Trim and Canvas who originally did them to come and set up our new colourful shade for when we return next year. We also have taken down the current ones for the holidays and taken them off site to be cleaned, tagged and stored.
