Kia ora Callum, here is a quick account (which I dont want published yet) of what our amazing whanau has done since this devastation. As you can imagine our whanau were deeply hurt however they have picked themselves up banded together for a massive clean up of the urupa within a week of the carnage. I can provide photos. Fundraising has started, koha from whanau here and overseas has started pouring in. Firms have offered concrete, paint, RSA have offered to help with the Returned Servicemen plaques. Stonemasons have visited and given quotes. The offers of help have been overwhelming. This is a personal account for you only until you advise me how to add photos to the gallery of whanau cleaning the urupa, updates and most important the whanau would like to give their heartfelt thanks to all those that have contributed. Until I hear from you again, hei konei.

Kia ora Georgina, That is so awesome to hear. I love how your whanau and the wider community have come together.

As far as updating and informing people of the progress. If you write something up and send me through the photos you want to use I'll update everyone. My understanding with this give a little page is, unfortunately, the person who set it up only has access to it.

Can you email me at feelslikehomebro@gmail.com or I'm happy to talk to you on the phone if you want: 0223006828

Nga mihi,

Callum.

Good evening Callum McLeay, so who are you in relation to the Waihape Whanau, and who is Kaye Wesley in relation to the Waihape whanau. You are putting the call out for donations and I am related to the Waihape whanau distantly, and I have not seen any of their names on here at all. If you People who are donating please be aware of who you are giving your hard earn cash too.

Be Aware, and unless Callum Mcleay can prove you are part of this whanau awesome that would be great. As for Kaye, why would you give money so that it can go into one persons account instead of a trust account so that there are more than one signatory. kind regards Tere Hokianga Roberts

Callum

Kia Ora,

Kayes whanau are buried in this urupa. She is the one that took and talked in the video. My understanding is that it is going into a trust account and requires 3 signatories. If you have any more concerns I would suggest you talk to the whanau directly to confirm everything.

Thank you for your message.
