Help Restore Hope and Possibility for Cheyenne

Just four months ago, Cheyenne was a happy, active 12-year-old who loved dancing, rugby, learning, and spending time with friends.

Today, her life looks very different. Cheyenne has experienced more than 100 collapse episodes, some lasting up to 1.5 hours. She has suffered three concussions and a neck sprain, and the ongoing effects are significantly impacting her ability to attend school, socialise, and participate in everyday activities.

Despite numerous hospital visits, specialist appointments, and investigations, answers remain uncertain. Diagnoses have included POTS, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), autonomic dysfunction, and medically unexplained symptoms. While her family continues searching for clarity, the impact on Cheyenne's life has been profound.

She has been forced to give up dancing, rugby, and many social activities. Her school attendance is limited, and although she loves learning and dreams of becoming a marine biologist, she is currently unable to even attend science class due to safety concerns.

Specialists have recommended therapies that offer hope for improving Cheyenne's function, confidence, and quality of life. Unfortunately, many of these treatments are not publicly funded.

We are raising funds to help the Higgs family cover some of the cost of these essential therapies and support Cheyenne on her journey toward recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
