Thank you so much to everyone who has continued to support Daniella. She arrived safely on Thursday morning with all flights going very smoothly. Her family are delighted to have her here. Today we will go to enrol her at school. She has a lot to get used to, but is so happy to be with her mother and little brother.

Because of your generosity, members of her family have been able to accompany her throughout her trip from her village to the main airport in Entebbe. Your generosity will also enable her to have enough money to pay for all the things she needs when she arrives - school uniforms and equipment, warm clothes and bedding. Thank you so much everyone. Thank you so much for everyone who has given so generously so far. We were so close to our target. Unfortunately, last night the Ugandan government announced an outbreak of Ebola in Uganda. Because of this we want to buy Daniella a fully flexible air ticket in the case of lockdown or other challenges. This is a price increase of $800. We appreciate you sharing this page so we can get the rest of the money we need quickly.
We have amazingly been able to find someone to help accompany Daniella from Uganda at the end of February. To help this happy we need to raise the last money needed quickly!
Daniella has the chance to come to NZ in February, accompanied by a New Zealander who is travelling to Uganda for work. This is so amazing as we will not have to pay anything for someone to accompany her. So the final cost we need is $5000 for tickets. We need to book these tickets as soon as possible.
