Help reunite a refugee mother and son who have been separated for 4 long years.
Canterbury
An amazingly, resilient and strong 19 year boy with a neuromotor condition, a wheelchair user and has learnt to communicate in a second language has been separated from his mother for nearly 4 years. He is a refugee from a conflict affected country where disability is stigmatised and his mother’s visa has finally been approved. While this is extremely exciting it is also extremely costly. It involves lawyers fees, immigration fees, not to mention flights etc.
we are hoping to raise as much as we can to put towards the nearly $15,000 cost to reunite mother and son, and ensure the mothers safety. Please take a moment to donate what you can.
I am a teacher of the young man, who has shown such bravery and resilience over the last 4 years.
All funds raised will go towards Immigration fees, lawyers fees and flights.
