Tara needs help raising funds for Rhea's knee surgery!
Rhea had her original knee surgery 10 weeks ago already costing $6000 (only $3000 covered by insurance).
Over the last 10 weeks, Rhea's body has decided to reject the plate they inserted so it now has to come out.
It has been 10 weeks of constant pain meds and antibiotics to fight the infection as well as ongoing vet appointments and tests to try figure out what has caused the issue. This has been an extra $1500 out of pocket as insurance won't cover anything else related to this injury. The only way for Rhea to heal is to do another surgery to remove the plate. Another $1500 that insurance won't help with.
Tara is the most strong and selfless person and even after doing everything right (has pet insurance plus had extra savings to use) has still found herself in such a tough position.
I know times are tough for everyone at the moment, but any help towards Rhea's surgery will be much appreciated.

Hi all, appreciate everyone’s amazing support through all of this, as rheas surgery was today we have closed off the page 🥰 the monies will sit on her account at the vets for all follow up care that may be required.
