Helping shelters in Brazil that are providing for the ones affected by the floods
Port Jackson, Waikato
Hey guys,
I never thought I'd see the day when my hometown, Rio Grande do Sul, would be underwater. It's like something out of a nightmare. This place, bigger than all of New Zealand, is drowning, and it breaks my heart.
I'm worried sick about my friends and family. I haven't heard from some of them, and I'm hoping they're safe somewhere, anywhere. But the rain just won't let up, and I can't shake this feeling of dread.
It's not just houses that are gone—it's people's lives. Their jobs, their memories, their loved ones—everything washed away in an instant. And it's still happening. The rain keeps falling, and so does everything else.
We need your help. Any little thing you can spare will make a difference. I'm in touch with some shelters back home, and every cent we raise will go straight to them. They're doing amazing work, but they need all the support they can get.
Thank you. Thank you for caring, for giving, for being there when we need it most. Rio Grande do Sul might be underwater, but with your help, we'll come out stronger on the other side.
Appreciate you more than words can say.
