Robyn's Incredible Battle - Help our friend live!

Please help Robyn battle cancer in 2020!

My friend Robyn is in a battle for her life and needs all our help now.

It's not only emotionally and physically tough for her but there's also a huge financial cost to bear if she has any chance of beating this bloody awful thing.

Her "journey" with cancer began in 2011, just months after losing both her home and business in the Christchurch earthquakes. At that time she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, had a mastectomy and lymph node removal. For over a year she endured intensive Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy.

Tragically in 2018 the beast came back.

It was while she was working overseas that she started getting back pain and had difficulty walking. A diagnosis was given of Stage 4 cancer with metastasis in several organs including her lungs and kidney, pelvis and spine. This was August 2018, she was in Hong Kong and wheelchair bound, I can't even imagine how scared she would've been, and then being given the horrific news she had 3 months to live with an outside chance of 2 years.

15 months on now and those that know Robyn know that this fiercely independent woman has a VERY strong will to live and she has everything to live for ... she's only 55, has a young adult son who needs his mum, and we all need Robyn in our lives too!

Fortunately people do win these battles, even with Stage 4 cancer, by treating it as a full time "job" and attack it with whatever is available.

So she has been doing everything she can to fight it.

Thankfully, as an ex-physiotherapist, Robyn has substantial healing knowledge and interest. She's taken an integrative approach, incorporating both eastern and western medicine, and has managed to hold off progress of the disease, but needs to keep up the treatment to continue to do that.

This is where we step in.

Robyn is a proud woman who has self funded everything to date but she simply can not continue to do that. It's just financially impossible so ...

Current Health Status:

Her CA 15-3 (a breast cancer marker) is almost normal and her blood analyses are good. The tumors have stopped growing and some have shrunk. She is aiming for remission and the best chance of doing that is while she is ahead and already winning.

Ongoing Treatment in 2020:

In 2020 she is starting a new protocol from a clinic in London. The drugs are not expensive, but residential detox support and complementary therapies (electro therapies including infrared and hydrogen therapy ) that will aid in the success of this protocol are VERY expensive.

The people that win this battle are the ones that attack from every angle, mind - body - spirit.

While she is continually getting stronger, it's a hell of a big job to heal yourself of cancer, let alone the ongoing cost of treatment and supporting herself through it. It has been incredibly stressful.
