Support Sandy and Warwick as Sandy goes through her cancer journey.

Whangarei, Northland

As many of you will know our lovely Sandy, Mum, wife, daughter, Aunty, sister, friend, kaiako, colleague has recently been diagnosed with bowel and liver cancer.

I am hoping that together we can help support Sandy and Warwick as they navigate through this difficult stage of their lives together. Sandy (and Warwick at times as well I am sure) will be unable to work for a while as Sandy goes through two surgeries and chemotherapy to fight cancer.

They will need to travel to Auckland for consultations, surgery and chemotherapy.

They are still finding out how this will all work and will need help paying for general living costs in the very near future.

I wanted to set up this page to help their family out as the last thing they need to worry about at this time is money.

I know any help will be gratefully received.

"Day 4 of Chemo

A quick 10mins yesterday to unconnect the portable chemo dispenser from my port 👍

Watching Carters football this morning ⚽️😍Feeling good with side effects very minimal with only a little bit of nausea when close to the time anti nausea tablet due. Not sure about fatigue as I try & rest or have a Nanas nap most days. Fingers crossed that things continue like this over days 4-7 when immunity is lowest 🤞🤞" From Sandy
