Fundraising for Caesar's Veterinary Treatment
Auckland
For those of you who know our whanau, you will know what an important being Caesar is to us, especially Hannah. If you have had the good fortune to meet him, you will know how precious he is. Caesar has been Hannah’s stalwart through thick and thin, but now he needs our help.
Caesar is very unwell. He is not an old dog by Husky standards (he is 8.5 years old).
He has undergone tests from 2 Veterinary Clinics, including x-rays and ultrasound scans. He has had a total of 4.2 litres of fluid drained from his chest so far, which has been analyzed by Veterinary Specialists Aotearoa and Gribbles Veterinary Pathology. Thus far the costs have been just over $6,500.
A mass has been found around his heart and windpipe. It is suspected to be a cancerous tumour, which could be treatable with Chemotherapy.
Caesar had a biopsy done on Monday 25 Sep. The sample has been analyzed and results at this stage are inconclusive.
The next step is a full CT scan and another biopsy.
This comes at even more cost (around $4K to $5K), and is still only diagnosis. Treatment will be another cost on top.
If you can help us to raise funds to save Caesar, please donate whatever you can.
Please also have Caesar in your thoughts, prayers and wishes for healing and strength.
We appreciate any donation, every bit helps!
I am Hannah''s Mum and Caesar's Grandma.

Dearest Whanau & friends
It is with so, so much sadness in our hearts that we must inform you that our Darling Boy Caesar crossed the Rainbow Bridge last night 💔
He went peacefully under anesthesia with his mumma Hannah holding him 😥
Thank you all for your donations towards his cause, your thoughts and prayers....you helped us to do the best we possibly could for him.
Donations are still welcome and appreciated to help cover the costs.
Rest in Love, Caesar 💜
