We're all very glad Cookie is doing a lot better. The vet bills came to $1023. A food hamper for the family $150 and 200 to assist with Cookie's vaccination that was delayed while she was injured.

I just firstly want to thank everyone so much for donating and helping with cookie, and thank you Anna so so much for making this page for us we were touched by the love and support you give us, I can’t thank you all enough this means a lot, Anna will give an update soon on funds and stuff as there is some money that is left from cookies bills, some will go to SPCA and then in my calculations there is a small bit left. Is everyone ok with the small bit going to cookie for injections she hasn’t been able to have them due to the attack, I get this is for cookies accident bills but this would really help at this time, if not we’re happy to give the last bit to the SPCA as well. But Anna will share an update on the funds.
Cookie is doing so much better, her scars around her neck from the sever bites are healing up really nicely, she’s been on special food and a few different medications for a few weeks now. It was touch and go for cookie for a while, her heart rate was up and down, her blood loss was scary but lucky wasn’t enough loss to give her a blood transfusion, her breathing was not good they had her on oxygen and when they tried to take her off she went down hill again she couldn’t take oxygen on her own, she wasn’t eating or drinking so they had an IV line in her arm giving her liquid.
But now a month later she is doing great she’s running around doing what pups do and brining so much joy to my kids and I, as I said her scars are healing really nicely, she’s a bit fearful of other dogs but that’s so understandable.
