Jasper's future is looking bright. Surgery has been a success with no sign of cancer remaining and he has got his bounce back.

It looks like the cancer was caught really early before it could spread.

Here he is chilling out after the first real walk in a while. Thank you so much to all of you for your kind words of support. And of course the financial support is easing the burden of 'the biggy', which we hope won't happen to our fur baby.

Due to the unknown nature of the sarcoma, surgery had to be done swiftly to ensure the cancer was completely removed before it had a chance to spread.

Jasper has come through this very well, and the vet is happy that the cancer has been fully removed.

He is currently at home recuperating, with a stylish new cone and one of Dad’s socks protecting his surgical site. Unfortunately Jasper is a smart wee fellow, and he figured out how to get his cone off and remove his bandage within the first 24 hours post-surgery, so he had to go back for some adjustments. The sock seems to work much better, although Jasper is confused and frustrated by his new wardrobe.

The vet costs came to about $500 more than we were expecting, so we still have a way to go to meet the goal - your generosity is very much appreciated - please continue to share our story so we can get this bill paid in full.

    Thanks from Jasper and Mum.
