Help save my life with a new cancer drug.

Hey Everyone my name is Ossian Smith ,

In February 2024 I got diagnosed with cancer in the lymph nodes in my neck , I had 3 treatments of immunotherapy costing $38000 (Thanks so much for everyone’s generosity to help raise this - https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/ossian-needs-our-help) , unfortunately it didn’t shrink the tumours like we expected , the tumours got so big they had to be surgically removed, they decided to stop the immunotherapy and treat it with radiation. My neck stayed free of cancer.

I thought we had got rid of it until 2 months ago I found another lump on my stomach, it turned out to be melanoma again and after a PET scan it turned out it has spread into my lung, spleen, hips and and back and throughout my torso.

I have had another treatment of radiation to shrink the tumour pressing on my spinal cord so it doesn’t stop me walking .

There is not much more the public hospital can do for me but there is one more private treatment available, I have started it , unfortunately it’s not funded in New Zealand and will end up costing $48000, so I’m raising money to pay for this treatment. Any help would be much appreciated.

The combination of drugs are called Encorafenib and Binimetinib .
