Help Save My Sons Best Friend, She Needs Life Saving Dental Surgery.

Our beautiful cat Misty came home a few weeks ago covered in blood, meowing, clearly distraught and in alot of pain. I managed to scrape together the $60 needed for the vet consultation, only to find out, the vet thinks she was hit/ran over by a car by the injuries she has endured.

Although most of her injuries are not life threatening and will heal on their own, such as broken claws, ripped left ear and fur missing from scratchs and scrapes, Misty needs urgent dental care as she also received two broken teeth which are already starting to decay and rot. Without this surgery, Misty is only going to get worse and suffer more as time goes by.

Misty is is my sons best friend, and they have grown up together since day one. She came into our family at only a few weeks old and has helped my son through his own trauma over the past four years. Misty has been in Auckland Animal Refuge, as I escaped domestic violence with my three children, had to relocate towns and now we have her back, this unthinkable incident has happened.

Please… don’t let this be the way her story ends. 💔
