I’m taking on an Ironman challenge to raise vital funds for three remarkable dog rescue charities that are transforming lives every day: Rottweiler Rescue and Rehoming, Sweet Noah, and Paws Restart. These organisations go above and beyond to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who would otherwise have no hope, providing them with the medical care, love, and support they need to start fresh.

These rescues work tirelessly with limited resources, yet their impact is life-changing. By supporting this fundraiser, you’re not just giving a donation—you’re giving a dog a second chance at a loving life. The funds raised will go directly toward helping these organisations save more dogs, cover vet bills, fund rehabilitation programs, and ultimately place dogs into their forever homes.

We work with all three of the beneficiaries in a professional capacity with our dog facility to help rehome dogs with them.

Use of funds

The money will help in rescuing dogs and working with fosters and other services to find them a home. This includes but is not limited to dog food, training, vet visits and other general help the rescue may need. Funds will be evenly distributed to Rottweiler Rescue and Rehoming, Sweet Noah, and Paws Restart.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
