30 year family business financially crippled father and left bankrupt
Canterbury, Mackenzie District
Kia Ora, friends, whānau, and kind-hearted people,
I'm reaching out on behalf of my father, Glen, and our family. We’re in a fight to save our family home, and we need your support to make this dream a reality.
Our Story
Once a successful businessman, my father is at risk of losing everything. A series of legal disputes and financial challenges have stripped us of our security and left us fighting tooth and nail to hold on to what little remains. It’s been an incredibly difficult journey, and despite all the hard work and sacrifice, our family has been left with nothing. Now, we have a final chance to reclaim what’s most important—our family home.
The Battle to Reclaim Our Home
Our home is more than just a house—it’s a symbol of everything my father has worked for. This is the place where our family’s legacy was built, and losing it would be a loss too great to bear. Recently, we’ve been given an opportunity to buy the property back from its new owner, but we’re running out of time to raise the funds.
We have just one month to gather enough for the deposit and a few more months to complete the final payment. If we don’t meet this goal, we will lose the home forever. After years of struggling to keep our business afloat and protect our properties, this is our last hope to hold onto something of the life my father worked so hard to build.
Glen is my Father I'm his oldest child from his first marriage I have been helping him through these challenges we have been facing we are very determined to achieve success in what we have been through.
We’re humbly asking for donations of any size to help us raise the $600,000 needed to buy back our home, also securing a home and future for Glen. If the funds aren't enough to save property it will go towards rent so my father has a place to stay as long as possible.
