Raising money to help get me to the Swimming Tri Series in Ballarat, Australia this July.
Durie Hill, Whanganui
I have just been selected by Swimming New Zealand to join their Youth Development Team and represent New Zealand at a swimming event in Ballarat, Victoria in July 2025. This is the first time I have been invited to swim for Swimming NZ.
The trip is entirely self-funded, with a cost of $3,755.00. Due to the short time frame, with the full balance due by June 30th I need some help to get me there. Mum and Dad already do so much for me that I'd like to help them out by raising some money so they don't have to cover the whole amount.
I competed at the National Age Group Championships in Hawke’s Bay in April 2025 and had my most successful meet yet, winning five national titles, as well as a silver and a bronze medal. I also broke a long-standing club record that had stood for 43 years. I have now won 19 medals, including 10 golds, at the National championships since starting as a 13-year-old in 2023.
I also give back to the swimming community by volunteering as a coach for younger swimmers and I have begun training to become a certified Learn to Swim instructor, all while balancing my own 8 weekly training sessions.
Any contribution, big or small helps me to swim for NZ!
Thanks, Paige

Paige is back from the Tri Series, and what an incredible ride it's been! 14 July 2025
Over two and a half jam-packed days, Paige tackled 18 events with unwavering determination and grit. That’s right — two 200m fly, two 400m IM, two 400m free, an 800m free, a 1500m free, plus a few 100m fly and IMs thrown in for good measure!
Paige gained priceless experience, formed lasting friendships, learned a ton, and even clocked a few new personal bests along the way.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this journey possible!!
