Help send Te Kura o Te Koutu students to finish their Spanish studies in Mexico

    Kia ora whānau. The students left last night for their trip to Mexico. A massive mihi to everyone who has supported them on their Spanish Language journey by donating on this Givealittle Page. Even though we didn't quite reach our target of $5,000 we have been able to cover the shortfall so that the kids can attend the Oaxaca Language Institute. We have been humbled by the generosity of so many of you and are deeply grateful. Ngā mihi aroha.

  • Te Koutu Kapa Haka

    Te Koutu students will be representing and sharing our culture when they travel to Mexico next month. Here's a little look at them preparing and performing at the Te Arawa Regional Kapa Haka competition early this year. Please keep sharing and getting the word out e te whānau. Not far to go until we reach the $5,000 needed to get these ten students into Oaxaca Language Institute.

  • Fundraiser dinner with Kasey and Kārena Bird

    The students held a fundraising dinner on Saturday night which was kindly hosted by Kārena and Kasey Bird. There was great food, company and entertainment. It was also an opportunity to spread the word about our Givealittle Page to pay for the kids' fees at Oaxaca Language Institute. We are almost half way to our total but need everyone to give us a hand to get to our target. Please keep spreading the word and sharing this page to your socials. Ngā mihi manahau.
