To help support Shayne and his family.
Auckland
On 24th October 2019 a local East Auckland resident, Shayne Wiringi was assaulted by a 16 year old in a road rage.
He was rushed by ambulance to Auckland hospital and the police came to tell his partner and 9 year old daughter, Hannahleah.
The hospital rang the family to say to come to Auckland hospital immediately. When they arrived Shayne was having surgery and was in critical care with severe traumatic brain injury.
Shayne’s partner says:
“he isnt eating much and he is still very confused. They said he is going to rehabilitation for at least three months. Hannahleah was very tearful so it is important for her to see her father.”
The family are in need of basic food, petrol costs to the hospital and Abi rehab centre. As well as ongoing support for this traumatic event.
Please help Shayne and his family as they come to terms with this.
Thank you for your support.

Shayne has been staying at the Abi Rehab centre in West Auckland for the last five weeks.
Despite the difficult times they have endured, Shayne made his first visit outside the centre last week with his partner, Daphne and his sister.
Daphne and their daughter, Hannahleah are planning to bring Shayne home for the night on Christmas Day.
Shayne and Daphne would like to thank everyone for their support, kindness and donations.
