Solmon is a 19-year-old Ugandan student with top marks and a dream to study medicine. Help him get there.
Otago
For years, I've been quietly helping my friend Solmon in Uganda — sending what I can for food, medical supplies, and the basic things so many of us take for granted. He has never once complained. Instead, he has worked harder than almost anyone I know.
Solmon is 19 years old, a committed Christian young man with outstanding school marks and a genuine calling to study medicine. He wants to be a doctor — not for status, but because he has seen what it means to go without proper healthcare, and he wants to change that for his community.
He has done everything right. He earned his place at university through his own effort and faith. But the fees are simply beyond what I can cover on my own, and I don't want to see his future stall because of money.
That's why I'm asking for your help.
Whatever you can give — even a small amount — brings Solmon one step closer to a degree, a career in medicine, and a life spent serving others. This isn't charity for someone who is sitting still. This is fuel for someone already running toward something remarkable.

Thank you from both of us. 🙏
I have been a friend of Solmon for many years and helping his family with basic needs while he studied at highschool. Now its time for him to start his University studies and he just needs so more help to get him over the line.
Funds raised will go towards University fees (approx $2000 NZD per year), accommodation when needed and books and study material.
