Help Star With Stage Four Bowel Cancer Treatment
Titirangi, Auckland
In late January our sister Star (Eve) was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer.
This has blindsided her and everyone close to her.
She’s been advised the best thing she can do is to use 2 targeted therapy’s. Encorafenib and Cetuximab.
Her treatments are all unfunded and unfortunately we don’t have the choice to use the funded options because of the BRAF variation she has.
Treatments cost approximately $30,000 per month.
Star lives at home with her three sons. Elroy, Seth and Orlando.
No longer being able to work makes this financially difficult just with the day to day necessities let alone the literal life saving medications.
Every little bit means more than you may or may not be able to imagine. She is a mother, a daughter, a partner, an aunt, a friend, a best friend, a cousin, and our sister.
💚
I am Stars younger brother.
The Funds raised will go directly to star for funding Encorafenib and Cetuximab, other treatment plans if required (page will be updated if needed) and day to day support for her and her 3 sons.
June Update 21 June 2025
Hi all 💛
Well it’s been a ride again where my tumour markers raised again but a week later they have come down again 🙏🏻
I am now on 3 chemo drugs and one target drug, the new third chemo just added we are doing at low dose due to it playing have on my platelets!
My liver has also shrunk in size which is so good,
I’m on lots of supplements, infusions of vitamin C and other stuff alone side the chemo so it’s hard to know what’s doing what but something is working.
Endurance is my word,
Just had my 5 round of chemo
Thank you for everyone’s contributions they are so important to me and the boys so thank you thank you thank you
