Help Star With Stage Four Bowel Cancer Treatment

    Hi all 💛

    Well it’s been a ride again where my tumour markers raised again but a week later they have come down again 🙏🏻

    I am now on 3 chemo drugs and one target drug, the new third chemo just added we are doing at low dose due to it playing have on my platelets!

    My liver has also shrunk in size which is so good,

    I’m on lots of supplements, infusions of vitamin C and other stuff alone side the chemo so it’s hard to know what’s doing what but something is working.

    Endurance is my word,

    Just had my 5 round of chemo

    Thank you for everyone’s contributions they are so important to me and the boys so thank you thank you thank you

    Hi all 🧡

    Sorry for the no coms but we hit a speed bump,

    The targeted drugs had been working on parts of my cancer but my liver decided to go and do its own thing,

    So after an 11 day stint back in hospital I have now had to start Chemo, the plan is for 3 chemo drugs and one private drug callled Avastin,

    We have started with lower doses as my bloods and liver were not in great shape,

    I have just had my second round of Chemo along with the Avastin

    It has made me very very tired and feeling just over all pretty awful

    We are just hoping that my liver will respond to the treatment

    Trying to keep as positive as I can and I am so very grateful for the support people are still sending as we still have to fund the Avastin and its administration ourselves

    Will update when we no more

    Hi everyone 💛

    Thank you all beyond words 💛

    Just wanted to update you and let you know that so far the targeted drugs are having a positive affect, my tumor markers are down and liver results are better 🫶🏻so we will continue with these drugs month by month 🙏🏻 I have fortnightly blood tests and we hope that these results will continue tracking this way.

    I am pain free now and up and moving about, just low strength due to being down and out of action for so long, but even that is improving!

    So thank you as all the support and amazing kind words are giving me so much strength and love! ❤️

    Apart from the targeted drugs I am working on boosting my immune system with all I can, this includes meditation and prayer daily 🫶🏻🙏🏻 💛

    So please know that your thoughts, prayers and contributions and making a massive difference to keep this happening 💛❤️💛
