Stevos been hit with Nasty Cancer that is taking over very quickly leaving him not much time! hes a fighter!!!

Please help Steve, his wife and kids through this hard time while he battles through this hurdle.

Stevo is one of the most amazing individuals I have the pleasure to know and have in my life. A couple weeks ago our lives changed completely.

Recently we were advised that this is more serious than we all thought. Stevo was diagnosed with cancer. He has a big road of battling ahead of him.

This man is so special and amazing and any one who knows him would strongly agree.

He is the type of guy who would do anything for anyone and is always the first to put up his hand to help any person/individual in need.

He is the rock and the soul of his family and his beautiful wife son and daughter are the center of his world. This man is just and all around top bloody bloke with such a kind caring genuine heart.

Stevo is usually a fit man who enjoys most Saturdays down on the rugby field running up and down the side lines cheering his son and his team on the Upper Hutt pirates. We want steve to be able to attend many more seasons doing that.

Our world came crashing down again

On friday the 24th of January when we meet with the team where they told us the plan off attack was chemo and then there was more heart breaking news that Steve is looking to only last another 6-8 months. This news has torn the whole family. Hearts are aching

I am setting up this page to help Steve and his wife with Bill’s, travel and also so he is able to smash out some stuff he has always wanted to do.

Worst of our fears 4 April 2020

An update on my Dad.

On the 30th of march 2020 mum took dad to lower hutt hospital for a his scan so we could see how the chemo is working and how and if it's working, all went well with the scan and dad went back home.

April the 3rd 2020 was chemo day round 4.

Off we went to wellington hospital it was also the day we found out the results of the scan. Due to the coronavirus that's happening I stayed in the car.listened by phone and mums name was on the list next to dads to attend it with him. At 10.25am our whole world once again came crashing down around us. The Dr has told us the chemo hasent worked. It hasent taken any effect what so ever and the cancer has got worse, its spread more and dads time with us has shortened even more. Sitting in the car hearing my mum sob through the phone is a sound I never want to hear. Dads in alot of pain they have up his pain medication and looking at doing 1 round of radiation just so hes more comfortable. This time around we arnt coping with the news very well. We are back at square 1. We appreciate all the love and support we get from everyone. I dont have anything more to say at this point apart from that we are broken we are hurting and we just need abit of space to come to terms with all of this.
