Thank you all so very much for your support and kindness. We have been home for a few weeks and life is starting to settle back down. The cats are happy..

Recovery is slow but each week I can do a little more and have to remind myself it's okay to have a crap day. I have an MRI scan coming up to check on my head but overall minimal pain.

Except now I've now broken my foot....oh gosh!! 💔

So I won't be doing much. We were told it was a sprain and a week later get a phone call saying its broken. So in to kew to get this sorted in a few days time.

Health is stable and Mark has been back at work for a week now so starting to have some normality.

This page will close in a few weeks time, We truly feel that we have been supported in so many ways by so many wonderful people and will be able to get back on our feet. Your kindness and support have been incredible and we appreciate it so much. Thanks

We would like to thank everybody who has donated or shared this page. We can't thank you all enough. It is very hard accepting help (we are stubborn)

and we are blown away by your kind words and generosity.

Mark and I have been back in Dunedin since Monday night. Hoping to get home tomorrow

Good news is I don't need a shunt. After meningitis the body has a hard time absorbing csf fluid, today I had my 5th lumbar puncture to check the pressure and it was okay, they drained half of it. Still feeling very sore and some days are awful. Just waiting on results and fingers crossed we get home tomorrow to see Alexis.

Thank you all so much xx
