I have been selected into the NZ U21 Rowing Team this winter and I need your help!
Waikato
My name is Kaitlyn and I am currently 19 years old.
This year I have been lucky enough to be selected into the NZ U21 Rowing Team as a coxswain in the Men's team. We will be travelling to Sydney in June to compete against Australia as well as racing in New Zealand in August to compete against Canada and Australia.
I am currently at The Waikato University studying full time a Bachelor of science majoring in psychology.
I started rowing at Sacred Heart Girls College when I was 15 years old, and am now a part of the Waikato Regional Peformance centre based in Cambridge NZ. I throughly enjoy coxing and wish to pursue coxing into the future.
Last year I was lucky enough to be slected into the NZ U21 Rowing Team as the Women's coxswain so am looking forward to the change this year with the men.
Over the past summer I have been commited to training in cambridge along side the Waikato RPC and coaching for St Peter's Cambridge and also running Coxswain workshops for Auckland Diocesan school for girls.
The costs associated with this campaign come to a total of $3000, any donation to help me continue my coxing career, no matter what the size would be extremly helpful and I would be super grateful for.
Funding the campaign - competing in Sydney in June as well as racing in New Zealand in August.
