Help support Peter’s recovery & rehab

On 30th August I suffered a serious fall resulting in a broken left tibia & a broken left proximal humerus which required surgeries with several plates and screws in my shoulder & leg.

I was unable to work and was in a wheelchair & leg brace for 2 months and then on crutches for a further 6 weeks.

I have made excellent progress and despite the surgeons thinking I would be in a wheelchair for over 3 months, and my never fully be able to walk independently again, I have returned to work in a limited capacity. To further my rehab and on the advice of surgeons and physios to help me make a full recovery I would like to raise money to purchase myself a rehabilitation dog that I can take on daily walks to assist me in making a full recovery for my young family.

The benefits of the dog will be immense and profound as I will be able to go on daily walks, increasing my strength and fitness as well as bonding with my new furry friend.
