We are calling for support for a beautiful Oamaru family who desperately needs the community's help.

After the recent flooding in Oamaru, Rachel woke to fence-high flood water at her main road property and had to quickly evacuate her young girls (13 and under) and dog early Monday morning.

She has been left without a vehicle, and they are now searching for accommodation as her house is completely unlivable as she has no insurance - saturated carpets, destroyed belongings, and a long way to go to rebuild their life.

While Rachel has allowed us to make this page, her concern are for her girls and their belongings that are now destroyed. We are seeking funds to help rebuild some sense of normalcy for her and her girls, we appreciate every donation and kind word.

At times like this we, as a community, must rally around those who need it most. Thank you.
