Help Support Rod Graham – A Lifelong Potter and Mentor in Need
Otaki, Wellington
Kia ora, friends and pottery community,
We’re reaching out to help support someone truly special – Rod Graham. Rod has dedicated much of his life to pottery and the arts, and as one of the founding members of the Ōtaki Pottery Club, he’s been a pillar of our community for decades. Rod is usually found volunteering in the kiln room, mixing glazes, sharing his knowledge, and supporting everyone around him.
Recently, Rod suffered a heart attack. Thankfully, he’s recovering, but he needs time to heal, which means he won’t be able to work during his recovery. This is a challenging time, as he relies on his tutoring income to help cover his rent and other living expenses.
Rod’s absence is already deeply felt by our community, and we’d love to come together to support him, just as he has supported us for so many years. Any contribution you can make will help cover Rod’s rent, bills, and other essential expenses while he focuses on his recovery.
Let’s show Rod the same care and support he’s given to so many of us. Every little bit helps, and if you’re not able to donate, please share this page with others who may know Rod or appreciate his work.
Thank you for helping us take care of a truly special member of our community.
Rod is a friend, mentor and teacher to myself and many others.
Funds raised will help cover rent and other living expenses and will be released directly to Rod.
