8 September 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations. Skye's surgery on 26 August went well, and the surgeon feels confident he removed the tumor. She will have a repeat MRI in a few months. While her head is still very swollen and her right eye closed, the eye specialist feels confident the muscles will return to lift her lid. We returned home to Nelson yesterday and she will be followed here for any ongoing appointments, surgery or rehabilitation. We sincerely want to thank each and every one of you, as your contributions have made it so much easier for us to focus on Skye while we were in Christchurch and fund all of the additional expenses and travel, along with allowing us to take time off work to be with her during her ongoing recovery.
