UPDATE: Our boy Talor has now completed his radiation and oral chemo doses 🥳🥳🥳

An amazing achievement! There were many ups and downs, but he’s through it now.

Latest: Yesterday, Talor had the operation to insert his port-a-cath. This device will now live in his chest to inject the next nasty doses of chemo treatments.

He’ll be receiving constant 48 hour intravenous doses, every 2 weeks, for the next 4 months 🤯

First dose starts on the 28th of this month, next week, the first Tuesday after labour weekend.

I know he’s a little nervous for this next bit so if you see him out and about, give him a smile/hug.

As a surprise (while he’s feeling a bit better) before these treatments start, he will be DJing at Goblin bar tomorrow night (Friday 24th) 7-9pm on Ponsonby road, Auckland. Please feel free to pop by and have a ginger beer with T ❤️❤️❤️

This will be his last little bit of normality before the next round begins.

Once again, thank you all so much for your kind donations, page shares, and overall encouragement for Talor.

    Love you all,

    Niels + Talor

  • Update 2 - From Talor

      20 August 2025

Hi team, just a quick update.

Today I had my planning CT scan and my first round of treatment will start on the 8th of September. Treatment round 1 will be 5-6 weeks of radiation and oral chemotherapy pills to go with it !!! Yum 🤤

Then after that I will have a 3 week break during which I will have a portacath put in before we get into 4 months of intravenous chemotherapy which will be taken fortnightly for 48 hours. The ball is rolling and hopefully soon we will be back to full strength!

I just wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your donations!! The stress and worry of having to support myself in this dark time was really weighing heavily on my shoulders and I’m forever in your debt for what you have all done for me. I truly am the luckiest guy in the world for having such great friends and family to be there in my time of need.

    Lots of love Talor

  • Update 1

      4 August 2025

Wow! We always knew Talor was loved, but the outpouring of support for this campaign has been absolutely incredible. Thank you all so much for your donations, shares, and kind words—it means the world to us. It’s truly heartwarming to witness this community come together for our Talor 🥰

I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated as we receive news. To start, we have some encouraging information: Talor has completed an MRI, CT scan, and PET CT scan, which revealed that the cancer is confined to the colon. This is a very positive discovery.

Looking ahead, Talor is scheduled to meet with his oncology team on August 12th. Shortly after, he’ll begin a treatment plan that includes radiation therapy combined with oral chemotherapy. This will be the first phase, followed later by more intensive chemotherapy.

I’ll continue to share updates as they come. Once again, thank you all for your incredible generosity and support ❤️❤️❤️
