Help Talor through his battle with Bowel Cancer
Auckland
In early June, right after his 36th birthday Talor was given the news nobody wants to hear - a cancer diagnosis.
A cancerous rectosigmoid tumour was discovered in Talor’s colon, and due to the advanced state and location of the tumour he is now going to have to endure both radiation and chemotherapy for at least the rest of the year.
As many of you will know, these forms of cancer treatments are both physically and mentally draining, meaning Talor will unlikely be able to work throughout his treatment, so we (his friends and family) are looking to support him through this battle by helping to alleviate financial pressures so he can focus on what's most important - getting better.
Our boy isn’t staying down without a damn good fight, but we really need your support to help ease some of the financial stress while on his way toward recovery.
If you are able to help with a donation we (and Talor) will be forever grateful for your support. We know times are tough for everyone at the moment, but any sized donation would be so greatly appreciated and will make a real difference. If you aren’t in a position to donate, you could help this effort gain support by sharing this campaign around.
Talor has poured so much love into the lives of those around him, now it's our turn to send that love right back.
Aroha nui, thank you so much for your support.
Talor has been one of my closest friends for more than 18 years.
Anything&Everything to get him through this chapter, all expenses while he's undergoing treatment including living costs, prescriptions, transport (to and from treatments) and extra therapeutic treatments to aid his recovery+(any unknown costs that arise)
Chemo 8 of 8!!! 6 February 2026
Hi everyone!!
Just a quick update to let you all know that right now Talor is completing his final chemotherapy session 🥳
The past four months have been a wild ride. From a blood clot in his port that meant daily blood-thinner injections, to a hospital admission after adverse reactions to one of the chemo drugs…it’s been a lot. Through it all, he’s shown incredible strength and resilience, and has pulled through like an absolute champion.
Once this 48-hour chemotherapy infusion finishes, Talor will undergo a series of scans to see how effective the treatment has been. From there, it’s likely he’ll need surgery to remove whatever remains, but we’ll wait to see what the scans show and take things one step at a time.
The GiveALittle page has now closed, but Talor will no doubt continue to share updates via Instagram or similar. Thank you all so much for your support, it has meant the world to Talor and everyone around him. The last six months have been an incredibly tough chapter, but your generosity helped ease the financial stress and allowed him to focus on getting through treatment.
Here’s to a much more positive 2026 for Talor. Thanks a bunch ❤️❤️❤️
