Help Tanya Filia fund treatment for cancer

Tanya a former principal of a Hokianga School, was diagnosed with brain cancer more than 3 years ago. When traditional western medicine was no longer effective Tanya was given 2 months live. That was nearly 3 years ago. Tanya turned to natural medicine, traditional Maori medicine and Vitamin C treatment. This treatment has been imperative in Tanya's healing journey. As part of Tanya's healing journey she has started to campaign to government to make these alternative medicines funded. Tanya has been to government and screened a movie about her journey and this has begun to be screened throughout the North Island. She has also been on Te Karere and interviewed by various newspapers about the needs for those that have been given no options by western medicine.

Tanya has 4 beautiful girls and many friends and whanau that are blessed to have Tanya in their lives. Unfortunately this treatment is very expensive and as Tanya is no longer able to work - funds have run out.
