Help the Barefoot Bandits conquer the Mongol Rally!
Three lads driving a crappy car across 17,000km+ to raise funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer New Zealand!

Our names are Cam, Carl and Leo and we are three local lads who make up the Barefoot Bandits team taking part in the Mongol Rally 2019. The Mongol Rally is the greatest motoring adventure on the planet where we make our own way from London to Mongolia in a 1200cc car. There are 6 teams entered from New Zealand and we’re the only team from the top of the south. It’s all about getting out of our comfort zones, getting lost, exploring the off beaten track and raising money and awareness for some very important charities.
To participate we have to raise $1000 for the Cool Earth Charity (the Mongol Rally chosen charity) and another $1000 for a charity of our choice. We have chosen to support the Prostate Cancer Foundation New Zealand. Considering 3000 New Zealand blokes are diagnosed and 600 die every year from prostate cancer, we feel its important to encourage men to drop the “she’ll be right” attitude that many of us take when it comes to our health and knowing the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer.
We would love some help in raising funds for our charities and fueling our journey!

Use of funds
Cool Earth Charity and Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ will both get $1000. Any funds raised above our targets will go towards fuel costs for the rally and the money remaining at the completion of the rally will be split evenly between the charities.

Our last month in the country!!! 6 June 2019
The Barefoot Bandits Crew have been overwhelmed by the extreme generosity of our supporters and we would like to give a massive shout out to the true legends that have dug deep and supported us.
Thanks a billion
We have smashed our minimum Fundraising goals of $1000 for Cool Earth and $1000 For Prostate cancer Foundation New Zealand and will continue to raise funds as we complete the journey to the finish line in Ulan-Ude Russia.
But we still Have a long way to go and many bits and bobs to buy and collect to make the journey foolproof so if you think you or your company/business could help out or donate some gear for the boys to use along the way we would much appreciate the helping hand as we venture out into the unknown.
