Help raise money for the Burne family to care for their Dad. This family truly are amazing and now it's our turn to help them out.

Hawke's Bay

Tony had a 'Sub Arachnoid Hemorrhage' (brain hemorrhage) on December 11th 2017, and is currently still in hospital recovering, unable to work. His wife BJ, is also unable to work full time to support her family as she is supporting her husband and caring for their 3 children aged 7-13. Fortunately, Tony was able to be flown to Wellington for life saving surgery. BJ had to fly to Wellington to be with him leaving their 3 children at home with family. All of this has already taken it's toll emotionally, physically and financially on the family.

It is unknown how long Tony will take to recover from this life changing event. Both BJ and Tony are self employed (separate small businesses), so the longer they are off work the bigger the financial burden becomes.

I wish to raise as much money as possible to help this beautiful family out in a time of need. They have had to cancel their plans for a Christmas catching up with family around New Zealand, to stay in Hawke's Bay as it is unknown how long Tony will need to remain in hospital (once he is flown back to HB hospital), and then his needs for rehabilitation.

I am Tony's second cousin and I feel as though there is not a lot I can do to help at the moment. I want to help this beautiful family out as much as I can. I feel if some financial issues are minimized it can only help benefit the family and Tony's pending recovery.

Use of funds

The money will go towards everyday needs commuting to and from hospitals, groceries and small amenities while both BJ and Tony are off work.
