Help the Cades
Fundraiser to help the young Cade family rebuild and get through this unfortunate experience.
Longburn, Manawatū-Whanganui
The Cades children live together in Longburn. After the death of their Mother, and an absent Father, they are cared for by the eldest sister Serena who has taken custody of the younger two children in their family home.
On the 5th of April at 10.30pm while the young ones were asleep, the house fell victim to an arson attack. Thankfully the family escaped the blaze and the Firefighters managed to put the fire out.
They have house insurance though with severe structural damage to the front and heavy smoke damage to the rooms and contents, electricity/gas and water has been cut and now the house has been condemned to live in until repaired, which could take a while.
The young family are running low on options and supplies along with the uncertainty of where they will live. Quite a hefty situation for the 18 year old sister to manage. So if there is anyone willing to help this young family move forward through this unfortunate situation. Feel free to show some love in one way or another 🙏

We want to help the family in this unfortunate situation as they have been a part of our self defense classes.
Use of funds
Helping to gain back what they have lost in the fire and survive while out of the house. Due to no contents insurance they need to start from scratch.
Help with food & accomodation in the mean time, also to replace furniture in the house once returned.
Once funds are received, funds will be transferred to Serena Cade.

Update on The Cades 24 June 2024
Thank you to everyone who has donated toward the Cades, they are very greatful and trying to rebuild their lives. Since creating the page they moved into a caravan, the insurance for the structure of the home is in process and will be an estimated 12 weeks until the house is liveable.
They have used this money to clear out rubbish and smoke damaged goods from the house. Joshs room suffered the most with direct fire damage so have repurchased new clothes, school chromebook and school shoes. They are renting a storage unit to add items they're going to need for when they move back in which is an active cost. Annabelle being immune-compromised, the goods that weren't directly damaged by the fire will still need to be replaced due to the smoke.
So the family still needs your help to continue rebuilding their home with cost of furniture, curtains, bedding, appliances and the like before they move back in.
Once again, Serena and the family are continuously greatful for all the support they have received 🙏 ❤️
