We are the National Brass Band of New Zealand, selected by audition from the best brass and percussion players all over the country. It’s a real honour to be a part of this band, and we work hard to achieve selection.
Over the years, the band has toured many times, both around New Zealand and Internationally. We have a proud history of competing in the World Brass Band Championships, held in The Netherlands every 4 years. In our most recent tour in 2017, the Band was placed second in the world.
In September this year, we are going to Australia, with concerts planned in and around Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. The concert tour is costing each member a substantial amount, and in order to reduce the cost to each individual, we would love to raise as much as possible from our supporters to go towards the accommodation and airfares. Please donate to help us on our way.

NZ Bands Ltd is a registered charity no. cc44693. It represents community brass bands throughout New Zealand.
Use of funds
The money raised will go towards reducing the cost of accomodation and airfares for members of the band.

The 2023 National Band Australian concert Tour is done and dusted, and was very successful. We played 6 concerts in Melbourne, Bendigo, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane and Caloundra. Thank you very much to all of you for your support!
