The 2023 National Band Australian concert Tour is done and dusted, and was very successful. We played 6 concerts in Melbourne, Bendigo, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane and Caloundra. Thank you very much to all of you for your support!
Hi everyone. We've extended the finish date of our givealittle campaign to give everyone a better opportunity to donate. You can now donate to the tour until the 10th of September, which is the day we arrive home from Australia. The photo here is of the 1965 National Band. The 1965 National Band’s three month tour included performing for three weeks at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, and a concert tour throughout North America, presenting 96 concerts and marching displays in 110 days. The International Association of Concert Managers voted the National Band of New Zealand the finest new attraction heard in North America.

Hi Everyone. The National Contest is done and dusted, and In 8 weeks time from now, the National Band will be in Australia! Many thanks to those of you who have contributed, your help is much appreciated. The givealittle campaign closes in 20 days, so please take the opportunity to encourage your friends to help us lighten the financial burden. The 2014 National Band, accompanied by the Aotearoa Māori Concert Party, toured China and South Korea with great success. Directed by Nigel Weeks, the same band went on to gain second place at the World Brass Band contest in the Netherlands in July 2017.
Hi Everyone. The National Band has a proud history dating back to 1953. This band toured for an astounding 5 months, giving 170 Concerts, culminating in winning the 1953 British Open Brass Band Championships held at Bellevue, Manchester. Here is a photo of that trend setting band!
