Help the NZ Comedy School replace its camera while funding the Diversity Scholarship

Since 2017, the NZ Comedy School has helped hundreds of diverse students overcome their fears and achieve their dreams of performing standup comedy. For its work helping comedians in a safe and ethical environment, the school won the NZ Comedy Guild's 2023 "Outstanding Contribution to the Industry" and the Wellington Comedy Awards' "Best Industry Helper" in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

An essential part of the program is to give students a high-quality video of their performances in graduations and other showcases. We were also in the midst of several other projects, including a documentary film, a new collection of video lessons, and a YouTube channel to showcase our students. And then, my best camera died, requiring an expensive repair or total replacement. Neither of which I can afford right now.

So I need your help! The pro-quality cameras that have been suggested run $2000 to $4500, so anything you can contribute...

ALL DONATIONS WILL ULTIMATELY GO TO THE DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP FUND. You help me buy the camera, I'll match your donations by giving away an equivalent value of scholarship seats--at least 10 over the next two years (in addition to any other funded seats). That's a $4500 value.
