Help us grow sovereignty over our kai systems!

$3,770 of $100,000 goal
Given by 37 generous donors in around 3 months

We empower communities through kai cultivation, skill development, entrepreneurship & leadership, and seek funding to continue this mahi.

Epuni, Lower Hutt

At Common Unity, we showcase sustainable communities where you are empowered and activated to exercise sovereignty over your kai systems. We strive to help people to reconnect with the whenua, feel a sense of community, and learn valuable life skills.

The demand for access to food grows and opportunities to grow and learn how to grow food locally lessen, at the same time the cost of living increases on the daily and a housing crisis gets worse.

We are now turning to the community to help us continue serving whānau in Te Awakairangi ki Tai, Lower Hutt. Your help will go towards ongoing operational and staff wages costs for our community hub.

We have exciting plans ahead and we trust that this campaign, community support and our continued efforts will help us bring our new strategy to life, including prioritising Ao Māori!

All donations are greatly received and will help keep our project going. Together, we can grow a better future for us all.

We are a registered charity. Donations can be tax deductible.
