Help This Family At This Very Sad Time

On 2 January 2025, Sarah and her three children (aged 9, 14, and 16) suffered the heartbreaking loss of Chris—her loving partner, their devoted father, and best friend—to Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Chris was the heart of their family, a constant source of love, strength, and support.

On top of the unimaginable loss, Sarah has been cruelly targeted by bullies, both online and in person. These attacks have also sadly extended to her family and friends, including the children.

While Chris’s wonderful family is helping with the funeral costs, there are still significant expenses remaining to ensure his memory is honoured, including a potential headstone.

The funds raised will also go toward supporting Sarah and the children during this incredibly difficult transition to meet the bills, and children’s ongoing needs. Due to Chris’s high care needs, Sarah left work to become his full-time caregiver and now faces the overwhelming task of re-entering the workforce while grieving and supporting her children through their loss.
