Help this large family who recently left Gloriavale

    The Pilgrim family have moved into rental accommodation! 5 weeks after leaving Gloriavale with few personal possessions, the family of 11 have found a 4 bedroom house. With help and love from all over NZ they have now got furniture, kitchen gear, clothing, vehicles etc to begin their new lives. It has been a most humbling and overwhelming experience. Dad has started a new plumbing job and is enjoying that, and the kids have settled in well to school. All funds raised are wisely being used by the family to help them establish a life out here. They want to pass on their immense thanks to those who have supported them during this time of upheaval. The photo shows some of the people that helped them move into their house. What a great team!! God bless the kind people of NZ!

  • Seven Sharp

    Seven Sharp were moved by the story of courage, and asked to do an interview about the practical side of people leaving Gloriavale and landing on "the other side". This was our first TV interview and we were very happy with the outcome. Not because we want any accolades or back pats, but to show the enormity of what the family have done in choosing to leave Gloriavale. There is a GREAT team of people supporting the family and we are just the faces of the TV snippet. Enjoy! And thanks again for your care, support and donations.

  • Starting School

    Today the kids start at their new school! We are so thankful to the many people across NZ who have given to help the kids with uniforms, stationary, bags, fees and more. The family also got accepted for a house to move to in mid-September. An amazing provision. God bless you all for your part in their journey.

  • Thanks from the family!!!

    The family want to pass on their deep gratitude and thanks for the overwhelming generosity of all who have offered them support and donations this past week. They can't believe how generous people have been!

    Along with the Give-a-Little page and private donations we are getting really close to being able to get a large van for the family. That's so exciting and will make all the difference to them starting their life in the outside. Thank you again for supporting this cause. Every bit helps. Thanks also to those who have shared this on social media. We are thankful for your help in getting the word out there.
