Titirangi "singing barista" Thomas has been forced to close his cafe down. Please donate to help him set up a community based coffee truck
Auckland
Thomas' coffee truck needs your help to become a reality. Thomas' goal is to create a coffee truck with the same vibrant and welcoming atmosphere Base Cafe was known for. Somewhere we can come together to enjoy music, dancing and fantastic food! I've heard rumors it may even do coffee deliveries! The coffee truck will bring local job opportunities and create a community hub for us all.
Thomas is no doubt our favorite caffeine expert and he is well know and loved for his positive and friendly attitude. What everyone doesn't realise is that Thomas also spends time helping those less fortunate, particularly those who find themselves living on the streets. He regularly engages with the local homeless community, offering support, companionship and job opportunities. This fundraiser is a chance to give something back to Thomas and help him create the vibrant community hub Titirangi needs.
"A truly nice genuine man, we will miss his lovely voice." Shelley Harris
"Thank you for the Joy and Positivity you have gifted to Titirangi Village over the years x" Margaret Colleen Walsh-Shearer
"The life and soul of Titirangi coffee. Kia kaha Thomas." Mary Claire Cox
"Thomas you are a Titirangi legend." Di Wright
Thomas is a member of my community, I have know him for several years.
All funds will go directly to Thomas to use for a locally based coffee truck. We wish him well in his next community venture!
Latest development from coffee van to "cubby hole in the wall". 3 August 2020
Great News! Thomas'Cup will now be a "cubby hole in the wall" T/A and sit in cafe, seating inside and outside 34 persons. This is definitely an upgrade on the coffee van idea.
Looking forward to welcoming you, located right across from the fire station. Opening around the first weeks of Spring.
A big Thankyou to everyone who have supported this cause. Thankyou Kat Jones. To my business mentor Mike Duggan and Russell and Lee who threw me a lifeline during covid.
I couldn't have done it without any of you in this wonderful community we have in Titirangi and, surrounding areas.
The fundraiser continues for 2 more weeks. Please share the link with your friends and family.
Look out for more updates to follow as I get closer to opening the official Thomas'Cup.
Once again thank everyone so much!
