Hi my name is Clarrissa Hobbs, my family call me Tiggy. I was raised by my grandmother, who is helping me to achieve my goal to go to Outward Bound.

This is my final year at school and although I've been trying everywhere to get a job I just haven't been able to get one.

I have a plan for my future, my passions are drama and F-X makeup but rather than go straight from school to another course, I want to take a gap year in the workforce to really think about the next best step. My confidence is pretty low after months of rejections or no replies from employers so I want to go on an Outward Bound course to get fit, become more confident and develop leadership skills to prepare me for the workplace.

The Outward Bound course starts on 1/12/2018. It will cost $4,370.00 and although my family and friends have supported me with jobs, babysitting and sausage sizzles. I dont have enough money to go.

Use of funds

This is an investment in Tiggy's success. Funds will send her to Outward Bound & help grow her confidence as she enters adulthood. Tiggy has vollunteered at Just Zilch for almost five years, so any surplus generated will be donated to Just Zilch.

WE MADE IT! 28 November 2018

I know I promised I'd leave you all alone but I want to post just one more update. Thanks to the generosity of a large group of people I can finally say that we we made our goal. She will travel across to Anikiwa on Sunday.
