Hello everyone

Our beautiful mum, Tracey Buist-Eastwick, is the heart of our family. She brings light, laughter, creativity, and unconditional love to everyone around her.

After spending over a year seeking answers, Tracey was diagnosed in March 2025 with an aggressive, but extremely rare cancer called Mediastinal Grey Zone Lymphoma, with fewer than 500 known cases worldwide.

Since then, she has endured multiple rounds of intensive chemotherapy, countless hospital admissions, severe infections, RSV, pneumonia, COPD, and a blood clots in her lung. Despite every challenge, Tracey has continued to fight with incredible strength and determination.

After periods of remission, the cancer has returned again. On 28 April 2026, Tracey and our family were devastated to learn that her cancer had returned again and that no further treatment options were available through the public health system. She was given a prognosis of just 2–3 months.

We sought second opinions and discovered there are private treatment options that may give Tracey more time even, enter remission. While some costs are covered by insurance, $18,200 (which is just the one drug called brentuximab) every 21 days plus 20% of treatment expenses must be paid by the family.

We are asking for your help to give Tracey the greatest gift of all more time to create memories with her children and husband.
